CONNECTIONS is looking for a SALES COLLABORATOR to strengthen its GROUPS & INCENTIVES department in Vilvoorde.
Function & profile
As a sales associate in our Groups & Incentives department, you will identify your customers' needs, negotiate the best rates and conditions with both airlines and local partners, and develop an attractive travel program from A to Z.
Through your daily contacts with our suppliers and customers, you build long-term relationships and identify new opportunities. You are one of our key contacts within our Group department. You can write short, inspiring descriptions of hotels, tours and destinations.
As well as being meticulous and able to meet deadlines, you keep a cool head in trickier situations requiring creativity and speed of action.
Challenges don't scare you? Are you tenacious and able to manage several projects simultaneously? Do you have good communication and organizational skills?
To be successful in this role, you need to be dynamic, positive and customer service-oriented. You're also capable of taking initiative and responsibility.
Clear and effective written and verbal communication in English, Dutch and French is essential.
Qualifications & skills
You are a woman or a man with the enthusiasm and motivation needed to start out in this exciting position.
A passion for travel is a must!
Degree in tourism or at least one year's experience in the travel industry.
You are familiar with various IT systems, preferably Galileo.
A very good knowledge of Dutch and a good knowledge of French and English are essential. (written and spoken)
You are customer-oriented, motivated and approach every situation as a challenge.
You are dynamic, flexible, stress-resistant and proactive, and fit in well with the company's culture.
You have impeccable administrative skills and a good command of standard computer software (Word, Excel).
Working in an action- and results-oriented environment appeals to you.
You would like to develop within a dynamic company.
You describe yourself as comfortable, enthusiastic and sociable.
