CONNECTIONS is looking for a SHOP MANAGER for our travel shop in Brussels Uptown.
Function & profile
At Connections, you're not a traditional travel agent, you're a Travel Designer! Listening to customers, you use your travel experience and business acumen to help them experience the world according to their own aspirations. You create the most extraordinary journeys to enrich our customers' experiences.
As an agency manager, you're also responsible for the day-to-day running of the agency. Your adaptability and social skills enable you to motivate and guide your dream team. You aim to achieve sales targets, and to do so, you take initiative and find great business opportunities, while respecting Connections' values and customer service. You're the agency's ambassador!
You're highly motivated and love a challenge. You communicate well in Dutch and French. In addition to your keen commercial sense, you are action- and results-oriented.
Qualification & skills
You're a woman or a man with the enthusiasm and motivation needed to get started in this exciting position.
A passion for travel is a must!
Degree in tourism and/or travel experience.
You are able to inspire your team
You have a good command of different IT systems, preferably with knowledge of Galileo.
A very good knowledge of French and a good knowledge of Dutch and English are essential. (written and spoken)
You are customer-oriented, motivated and approach every situation as a challenge.
A dynamic, flexible, stress-resistant and proactive personality fits in well with the company's culture.
You have impeccable administrative skills and a good command of standard computer software (Word, Excel).
Working in an action- and results-oriented environment appeals to you.
You would like to develop within a dynamic company.
You describe yourself as comfortable, enthusiastic and sociable.
