You kick off in San José. One day later, you will find yourself at the foot of the Arenal Volcano. Obviously there is ample time for treks, ziplining and canopy tours or rafting. You will travel through tropical forests, spot exotic animals and enjoy the splendour of both Costa Rica's natural beauty and its local cuisine. Your journey ends with a beach stay in Playa Samara, a full 2 days of utterly unwinding.

All transfers during your visit to Tortuguero are on a shared basis. You star at San José. At the end of this extension, you can either return to San Jose or take possession of your rental car in Rio Blanco and go explore!
